On the 7th July, 10:00-14:30 the Regional Youth Climate Assembly (RYCA) are hosting an education summit at Harrogate College. An interactive day designed around all things climate.
The aims for the day are:
1. Networking: Provide students with the opportunity to talk and learn directly from climate experts in small groups.
2. Hands-on Learning: Engage in practical workshops focused on real-world
environmental issues.
3. Empower Climate Action: Support young people in initial planning their own climate focused projects to bring back to their schools.
In the morning young people will have the opportunity to speak with leaders in climate and the environment sectors about their work and careers. In the afternoon there will practical sessions engaging young people on the different aspects of climate action.
