Leeds has been honoured by His Majesty King Charles III with the kind words he has sent to Leeds this week. His letter marks 400 years since the city received its first Royal Charter on 13 July 1626.
It is a proud moment for Leeds, as he praised our civic pride; industrial, creative and cultural collaboration; and spoke fondly about his visit in 2022.
