A reminder that Leeds Ukrainian Community Association (LUCA) are organising a charity hike in support of Ukraine this Sunday 11th October. You can join them for the full hike or simply meet participants and show your support at the start.
LUCA is organising the event in collaboration with AUGB Leeds, LituaniCA and the Lithuanian Riflemen Union in the United Kingdom. The hike will bring together Ukrainian communities, supporters of Ukraine, partner organisations and friends from across Yorkshire to show solidarity with Ukraine and raise funds in support of our work. Funds raised for LUCA through the hike will primarily help fund our October aid mission to Ukraine.
You can see more of LUCA’s work, including examples of our previous charity hikes, on Instagram at: www.instagram.com/leeds.uca/
The hike will start at 11:00 from Totley Rifle Range, Sheffield, S17 3BB. The route is approximately 7.5 miles / 12 km, with a minimum donation of £10.
Further information is included in the attached event flyer. If you are able to attend, or would like any additional information, please email Ben McDougall ben.mcdougall@leeds-uca.co.uk
